Amba BONGO

    Amba Bongo was born in Kinshasa where she studied at the Institut Supérieur Pédagogique de la Gombe. She also studied psychology at the University of Warocqué, Mons, Belgium. She now lives in London with her partner Godé and their two children, Nathalie and Andréa. Amba is currently working with the project Active Women, which gives support, advice and information to French-speaking African women on immigration, education and employment in British society.     Anna finds a job at the University of Kinshasa where she works as an academic adviser, but she is taken away by members of the state security service at whose hands she endures all manner of suffering, humiliation and torture before she ultimately becomes an exile in London.
