Odette HABIYAKARE An author from Rwanda writing in French

Odette Habiyakare, (left), was born in Rwanda in 1970 where she worked as a teacher and then for African Rights - an NGO based in London - tracing survivors of the genocide. She presently lives in Geneva. Mathilde Fontanet, (right), was born in 1960 and lives in Geneva where she works as a translator and teacher at the School of Translation. Her novel, Robenstrasse 5,<7i> was published by Editions Metropolis in 2005. (Back cover)
