The author Josette Evelyne Njock, née Ngo Mouaha, was born in Pouma in the coastal region of Cameroon. She completed her secondary studies, passing her baccalauréat examination, following which she turned her attention to the rearing of farm animals. However, the writing of material for children, particularly stories, remained one of her preoccupations: her way of contributing to the development of the adults of tomorrow.
