SENY An author from Senegal writing in French

Seny was born in Saint-Louis, Senegal, in 1967. Her grandfather, Mor Diarra N'Dao, was descended from a long line of Sérès nobles of the ancient Kingdom of Saloum. She experienced a troubled childhood and adoloscence, but her marriage to a French citizen enabled her to migrate to France. However, other ordeals awaited her there: the death of her husband and later, that of the actor Villeret with whom she lived from 2002 until 2005.
