CATHERINE ZOUNGRANA

    Catherine Zoungrana was born in France in 1965. Abandoned at birth by her mother, she spent the first years of her life in foster care. Aged five, she was reunited with her father's family in Burkina Faso before returning eventually to France. She now (2007) lives near Paris and has two children. (Preface, p.9.)
