    Geneviève Yobou Bro-Grébé is from Grand-Alépé, close to Abidjan. She is married and the mother of three children. She first worked for a large firm in Abidjan and later became a consultant. With the advent of the Ivory Coast Second Repulic, she was elevated to the post of Minister for Sports and Recreation in the new Government. She has been involved with the activities of numerous associations and recently created the Ivorian Movement for the Defence of Republican Institutions (MIDI). She currently (2004) lives in Abidjan.
