Juliana Diallo is Guinean and Hungarian. She was born in 1961 in the small town of Berettyóújfalu, Hungary. She grew up in Debrecen and left her country aged 18 in order to study at Leningrad University (now Saint-Petersburg) in the old USSR. It was there that she met her husband.
Juliana Diallo gained a Diploma in Work Psychology in 1988 and later a PhD in Social Psychology from Budapest University Eötvös
Loránt in 1989. She followed her husband to Guinea in 1991 and is now (2010) a specialist in Economic Planning and Managment, working on various development projects in Guinea. She has four children. (Source: the autor's novels).
