Fatoumata Kane is Senegalese and Malian by birth and Burkinabè by marriage. She worked first in the banking sector in West Africa and later as a documentalist in the southern part of the continent. A mother of three children, Fatoumata Kane is passionately fond of literature and computer technology. In June 2010 she created the Editions Lakalita in Ouagadougou.
