Atë-Maïs VILLEDIEU An author from the Cameroon writing in French [Return to French Page originale en français] |
Atë-Maïs Villedieu (a pseudonym) was born in Cameroon. She arrived in
France in 1970 and currently (2004) lives in Gaillard, a small French town
close to Geneva. "Literature and the real characters who inspired me, she said,
allowed me to discover life and to describe the world in my own way, the way I saw it:
traditions, specific odours, customs ... are allowing us to reach a better
understanding of ourselves, to look for answers, discover who we are and
go back to our roots..." (Gaillard, 2004).
