Douka ZITA ALIDA An author from the Gabon writing in French [Return to French Page originale en français] |
« I am a medical secretary in Arcueil-Cacahn, France. I have dabbled in many things. After obtaining my DEA in International Relations, I undertook work experience in journalism with Radio Africa No 1. My father is a Diplomat and has been transferred several times to Belgium, Morocco and elsewhere. My book is a reflection of my multi-cultural life experience. I can't say that I am entirely African. I was born in Africa, but I grew up overseas. In my novel, "The Shout of Freedom", I address the issue of common humanity and relationship with others: people you can talk to, enjoying their company; people who enrich one's being and are not seen as strangers. » (Interview AMINA)
