    Mame Bassine Niang is the daughter of Bouna Sémou Niang and Mbayang Madjiguène Débo. She was born in Senegal in 1951. Upon completing Studies in Law, she became the first black women lawyer admitted to Dakar's Judiciary, in 1975. Ms Niang is one of the founding Member of the Senegalese Women Lawyers and the Vice president of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA). An expert in international politics, she is often called to participate in fact finding missions. Mame Bassine Niang passed away in 2013.
