    Stella Samba dia Ndela is a Researcher in earth and soil sciences. She hails from Congo and was born in Pointe Noire. Her parents were both teachers. Stella studied soil science in Moscow, Russia, and followed up with postgraduate and doctoral studies in Nancy, France. Apart from Congo, where she spent her youth, she has lived in Russia, France, The Netherlands, Nigeria, Cameroon and Belgium. She has also travelled widely in Europe and the U.S. in connection with her work and research activities.
