    Elisabeth Delaygue (also known as Elizabeth Seenivasa Pillai) was born in France in 1958. After completing her studies in Art and Design, she left for Abidjan, working initially as a teacher and later as an interior designer. In 1985, she moved to the Island of Mayotte where she worked as a journalist (1991). Eventually, she settled in Reunion and is now engaged in the field of Town Planning.
