Gina Dick was born in Abidjan. She studied in Ivory Coast, in Europe and in the US. She is currently teaching English in the Department of Dentistry at the University of Cocody. She lives in Abidjan (2000) and is fond of painting, an art-form she practices herself (see book cover illustration of her latest book "L'Injure" [on French page])
