    Alice Endamne was born in France. Her parents hail from Gabon. She gained an MA in English and a DEA in English Studies at the University Paris XII. She has lived in France, Gabon and the United States where she currently resides. For many years, Alice Endamne was the Editor of the literary publication Black Arts Quarterly published by Stanford University.
