    Anglophile and Africanist, Régina Mfoumou-Arthur was born in Cameroon in 1972.

    Olaudah, the son of an aristocratic family in his native land, was torn from his African milieu as a child and taken to the 'New World' as a slave and later, freed. The fate of d'Olaudah Equiano is remarkable and his writing fascinating.
