    Virginie Mouanda's family came fom Cabinda, although she was born in the Congo in 1966. After studying Language and Literature in Brazzaville and Grenoble, she became a militant for human rights. Virginie Mouanda Kibinde now (2004) lives in France, near Grenoble.
