    Trained as a linguist and ethnolinguist, Fatimane Moussa Aghali has researched the African folktale, especially those from Niger, a country to which she returns regularly in order to collect original material. She transcribes and translates her stories for a European public and readership. For a number a years, she has conducted workshops and given performances across France, telling tales, riddles and proverbs. She has performed in many venues such as colleges, libraries, youth centers, museums, hospitals, orphanages, retirement homes, festivals, etc..
