Novels and Essays
:
Pétale Ecarlate [The Scarlet Petal]: Société Malgache d'Edition, 1990. Republished under the title Felana. Paris: Editions le Cavalier bleu, 2005, 252p.
Each and every individual has their own Vintana, their destiny, which is not a fate, but rather a potentiality. Madagascans do not conform to the dictates of an existence which is fixed for all time. On the contrary, it is up to them to realise the potentialities of life which are attributed to them from the outset, and to make the most of themselves given the opportunities presented. Born on the terrible night of the alakaosy, the Other Side has come to life in the form of Félana and the threads of her destiny are woven in the hands of a Superior Force. It is up to her to overcome it. |
La Marche de la Liberté [The Freedom March]: Azalées/L'Harmattan, 1992.
Le Cinquième Sceau [The Fifth Seal]: L'Harmattan, 1994.
The night is young, another child is frightened by its shadow. The people hide with the rats. A few have the courage to cry discord, the discourse of the damned. Others fall with closed lips, silent unto the grave. For them Andry is the mad prophet, their prophet in rags to whom the four and twenty old men of the Apocalypse have confided a holy mission: break the chain of silence and raise the people to their original dignity. |
Nanté, fille du néant [Nanté, daughter of the Void]: unpublished.
In this era of global uncertainty, yet another human error throws a foreigner, a spirit, into our midst. She observes, appraises, judges the road that Man has carved. Dressed in mortal's clothing, her only certainty is that, caught up in his dangerous domestic argument, Man has neglected the redeeming feature which differentiates him from the animal kingdom: his MIND. |
Kirihitra unpublished.
Ravalomanana Marc, de Président de la rue à Président du Palais [Ravalomanana Marc, from President of the Street to President of the Palace]: Azalées, éditions de l'Ile de la Réunion, 2002.
Ravalomanana Marc, de Président de la rue à Président du Palais (Tome II) [Ravalomanana Marc, from President of the Street to President of the Palace (vol.2)]:

La Fracture [The Fracture]: unpublished.
On our diverse, fertile, growing planet, life can be understood in more ways than the one suggested by material signs. Man has introduced philosophical, religious, and scientific thought systems, and he develops them according to his convictions. Thought processes and behaviours, so he believes, are built upon solid foundations and the rigours of reflection and analysis. But can an important contradiction between these convictions and reality bring about a complete fracture among the greatest believers and the most erudite? |
Sang pour sang, vie pour vie [Blood for blood, life for life]: Antananarivo, 2003.
Poetry
Moi, môme errant [Myself, wandering kid]: unpublished collection of poems.
Amertumes [Bitterness]: unpublished collection of poems.
